TerraSource Valuation is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Lashbrook. Jason worked most recently as a valuation analyst at Hancock Timber Resource Group where he supported acquisition due diligence and valuation. This work involved describing the forest resource, conducting market surveys and creating valuation models. Prior to this, he spent eight years in various analyst and GIS positions at American Forest Management.
Jeff Wikle, MAI and Phil Bailey will be attending the 2011 University of Georgia Timberland Investment Conference which will be held March 23-25 in Lake Oconee, GA. Jeff will be a panelist on the Appraisal Forum. Panel topics will include Timberland Appraisal Issues, Integrated Forest Management and Timberland Ownership Changes to name a few. Global Wood Markets & Trade and Timberland Investments will be the focus of the conference as emerging markets have placed a large demand on all commodities including wood products.
